'Tis cold beyond the forest deep,
White-coated trees and snowy farms,
Wild friends caught on their longest sleep,
Keeping warm in winter's arms.
Cloaked by the clouds of morrow's snow,
The stars peek through bringing dreams,
Lulled by december winds that blow,
O'er still lakes and chuckling streams.
At the music of wolves' howls,
The northern lights dance ablaze,
Upon the wings of snowy owls,
The morning's misty light gives praise.
Yet we must not stand idle,
Lest the crippling cold takes hold,
On windows does the frost sidle,
Sculpting art of beauty untold.
On december's coldest night,
For wishes of a safe homestead,
Ye may set a yule lo
Lashing in brisk demeanor
The autumn wind breaks away
While winter lies at anchor
And the darker days draw nigh
And abundance settles in
As land offers its last gift
However the year has been
And forthwith the seasons shift
Winter comes in expectance
But the cunning cold forebodes
Must we leave nothing to chance
Or find ourselves at crossroads
Ominous as he may be
Turning summer leaves to fire
The air fickles eerily
As per our mother Earth's ire
And then, when winter does come
The autumn wind dies away
Leaving us with its wisdom
As we all are here to stay.
October 1st, 2014
Let us bask in the afterglow
Bereft by dreaded sunsets
For broken dreams and tales of woe
Stand steadfast in our regrets
As the sorrows of our daughters
Be the sins of their fathers
And the thunder of novel guns
Be the music of our sons
A forgotten embrace
And an eluding kiss
From a nameless shadow
Luring us to and fro
As thousands of voices make war
Our heads, their battlefield
Into tender minds they bore
As never shall they yield
For memories unbeknownst
And sanity defiled
In ephemeral instants
Oft through the winter mild
Idling in a hiss
Of ravenous blight
That feasts on our bliss
In wicked delight
Hid it all underneath
The monster withi
On us the veil of darkness done cast,
Mighty knights come,
From kingdoms far,
When hope's left all, and light is thought lost,
Stronger they come,
From worlds ajar.
Swords sunder with no mercy given
And dooms befall
At Gods' assent
A feast of screams, flesh and bones riven,
Death, all in all
At Gods' content
Away the veil of darkness done gone,
The sun dares shine,
O'er us again,
The seasons turn, and life carries on,
As trees entwine,
O'er valleys green.
As the last of cursed thralls lay dying
By stones and thorn,
O'er shores of tar.
For praises we give, of heroes we sing,
New gods be born,
O'er glens afar.

Let me catch your scent
And keep it in a bottle
Made of dear memories
And sweet dreams
And engrave your voice
On an old beewax record
For music to dance to
When alone
All that I would give
For your touch to linger
A warmness eternal
That yet gleams
Your breath unto mine
Hung your smile in my heart
From our treasured moments
Never gone
Let the sight of you
Be the last thing I see
Lest this love fades away
From our heart
'Tis only farewell
As much as one could hope
Only a cleft in time
Whence we part
I’m just a little bird,
Soaring away,
Searching for freedom…
I’m just a little bird,
Asking the winds,
To carry me on…
I’m just a little bird,
Shooting through clouds,
Looking for the sun…
As I keep sliding through,
The gentle breeze,
Trying to find a way,
I see a world brand new,
For me to seize,
But I know I can’t stay,
My leave’s long overdue,
But I’m at ease,
And too easy a prey…
I’m just a little bird,
Sailing away,
Searching for freedom…
I’m just a little bird,
Asking the winds,
To slide me upon…
I’m just a little bird,
Slicing through seas
Once again
I'm drowning in my tears
Going insane
Until my mind unclears
Lost in dreams
That never became true
My heart screams
Cause it's broken all through
There's only one thing I know,
My heart's broken up in a million pieces
Shattered all over a thousand places
As much as my pain can show
Bruised by your words, I couldn't have known
How it could hurt, I'm overblown
By my love
You make me cry
For some reason
When I'll finally
Break out of my shell
And then I'll fly
Up in heaven
Cause I know I'll be
Someone else's angel
There's only one thing I know,
My heart's broken up in a million pieces
Shattered all over a thou
There's been some times in my life
When everything always went wrong
I wished I could turn back time
But the moment's still hanging on
I couldn't even imagine
Chasing the shadow of my own
And now I'm trying to get you back in my life
But everything that's left to me seems to be gone
I try to remember
How it turned wrong
I can't find the reason
Why you left me
As far as I can remember
I tought you were my only one
Everything else is blank
Try to fill the holes in my memory
There's been some times in my life
When everything always went wrong
I wished I could turn back time
But the moment's still hanging on
I couldn't even im
Take a look at me
Tell me what you see
Is it an angel so mild
Or a amazon so wild
Please give me your soft hand
Fly me to Wonderland
That paradise high above
Where everybody's in love
Sometimes, do you think of me
Somewhere, do you cry for me
I wanna know, am I the One
Or am I just another one
You come to see and then go away
Just to jump to a brighter day
I thought you were in love with me
But I was wrong
Always singing over the sea
The same old song
You made me laugh
You made me dance
And now that you've left me off
Here alone without a trace
That I'd follow
Sometimes, do you think of me
Somewhere, do you cry for me
Walking in the light
Nothing's sounding right
There's one thing missing
That got me thinking
If I could ever be happy
But there's nothing that I can see
A part of me was far away
Gotta find the heaven's stairway
To get to you
If I could fall in love
It would put my heart at ease
If I could fall in love
At another time and place
If I could fall in love
One last time
It would be with you
Going around nowhere
With nothing to share
Or that I could keep for myself
Till in my dreams, I saw that elf
That told me all the things 'bout love
Then I felt as free as a dove
So next only thing I knew
I soared away to find you
To get

Try playing around with the levels adjustments once you scan your lines, and before you apply the action. There's only one example of your scaned-in pencils in you gallery, so I don't have much to go on, but levels can help you sorta clean up your linework a bi before you work on it.
(and if this was too obvious a suggestion, my apologies - just trying to be helpful! ^_^ )
